How we judge a site we've built

Not by whether it looks good in a portfolio. By four things you can check yourself on any site on this page.

  • Does it load in under two seconds? Open it on your phone and count. Half of visitors leave a site that takes longer than three.
  • Can you call without hunting? Scroll to the bottom of any page. The call button should still be there.
  • Does it say where they work? Actual neighborhoods, by name, not "the greater area."
  • Is the proof real? Real reviews with real names, real photos of real work. No stock imagery of somebody else's business.
