Analytics & Search Console Setup
Having Google Analytics installed and having useful data are two different things. Most sites have the first one.
GA4 installed correctly, once
double-installed tags are common and they quietly double your numbers
Calls and form fills configured as conversions
so the reports measure business outcomes instead of traffic
Search Console connected and verified
the only place you see the real searches people used to find you
Your sitemap submitted
and checked, because "submitted" and "indexed" are not the same thing
Internal traffic filtered out
your own visits inflating your own numbers is the most common reason the data looks wrong
Everything in your own Google account
you own the property; if you leave, the history leaves with you
Analytics Setup
A tag in the header is not a measurement setup
The usual state of affairs: GA4 is installed, it's been collecting for a year, and nobody has opened it because it shows sessions and bounce rate and neither means anything to a business that needs calls. Meanwhile Search Console — which tells you the actual searches bringing people to you — was never connected at all.
Set up properly, these two answer the only questions worth asking. What searches bring people here. Which pages turn them into calls. What broke last month. That's it, and it takes a few hours to configure once.
Analytics Setup
The two reports worth your time
Search Console: what people typed
This shows the actual queries that put you in front of someone, how often you appeared, and how often they clicked. It's where you find the searches you almost rank for — position eight or nine, real volume — which are the cheapest wins available because you're already close.
GA4 conversions: what happened after they landed
Configured properly, this tells you which pages produce calls. Usually there's a surprise: a page nobody thought about doing most of the work, and a page someone paid to redesign doing none. That changes where the next month of effort goes.
Analytics Setup
Who owns the data
Your accounts, your data. We get access by invitation and it can be revoked in one click. We never ask for or accept your password — not for Google, not for anything.
The reason this matters: if the analytics lives in the agency's account, you can't take your history with you, and a year of data is worth something. Plenty of arrangements are set up that way. Ours isn't.
How we work
Three things decide who gets the call.
Technical
Fast, secure and easy for Google to read on every phone.
Relevance
Pages that match what your customers actually search for.
Authority
Real reviews and clean listings that make you the trusted choice.
