Local Citations & Listing Cleanup
Your business details are scattered across dozens of sites you've never logged into. Google reads all of them, and the ones that disagree quietly cost you rankings.
A full audit of where you currently appear
including the listings you never made and the duplicates you don't know about
One canonical version of your details
exact name, exact address format, one phone number — written down and used everywhere from then on
Corrections filed on the major aggregators
these feed the smaller directories, so fixing upstream fixes dozens downstream
Duplicate listings merged or removed
two listings for one business split your signals and sometimes trigger suspensions
The directories that actually matter for your trade
a plumber and a med spa need different lists; a generic 300-directory blast is mostly noise
A record of what was changed
so you own the logins and the list, not us

The listings you didn't create are the problem
Directories build listings automatically by scraping other directories. That means there are almost certainly entries for your business on sites you've never visited — with an old phone number, a previous address, a misspelled name, or the suite number missing.
Google treats this as a confidence problem. When the details are consistent everywhere, Google trusts the profile. When five sources say one thing and three say another, that trust drops, and a competitor with tidy listings gets the position. This is unglamorous work and it's one of the highest-return things we do.

What "NAP consistency" actually means
NAP is name, address, phone. Consistency means byte-for-byte, not roughly. "Suite 200" and "Ste 200" and "#200" are three different strings. So are "(832) 356-6027" and "832-356-6027" once a scraper gets hold of them in the wrong context.
In practice we pick one format, write it down, and use it everywhere — website footer, Google profile, Facebook, invoices, directories. Then the phone number: if you use a tracking number for ads, it must not replace your real number on the Google profile, because that mismatch is exactly the kind that hurts. There's a correct way to run call tracking alongside a clean NAP, and getting it wrong is common.
One more thing worth knowing: a tracked number on the website is fine as long as the underlying real number stays consistent in the places Google cross-checks.

How often this needs doing
Once properly, then watched. Listings drift — aggregators refresh, someone's bot re-adds an old address, a directory changes format. A cleanup that isn't monitored decays within a year, which is why it's part of the monthly work rather than a one-time purchase.
If you've moved locations or changed your phone number in the last two years, this is almost certainly costing you something right now.
