Call & Form Tracking
If you can't tell which calls came from where, every decision about where to spend money is a guess.
A tracking number for each source you care about
ads, the Google profile, the website, print — each one distinct
Calls forwarded to your real phone, transparently
you answer normally; the customer notices nothing
Form submissions tagged with their source
including which page and which search brought them
Wired into your analytics as real conversions
so the report says calls, not page views
Set up without hurting your local SEO
this is the part that goes wrong most often — see below
Recordings only if you want them, with the required notice
Texas allows one-party consent, but there are still rules and we follow them
Call & Form Tracking
"How did you hear about us?" is not data
Most local businesses measure marketing by feel. The phone seems busier, so the thing we started last month must be working. Sometimes that's right. Often it's the season, or a referral, or the thing you started three months ago finally landing.
Tracking replaces the feeling with a record: this call came from the Google profile, that one from the ad, that one from an organic search for a specific phrase. Once you can see it, the budget conversation changes completely — you stop arguing about opinions and start moving money toward what produces calls.
Call & Form Tracking
The mistake that costs rankings
Call tracking works by showing a different phone number. Done carelessly, that tracking number replaces your real number in places Google cross-checks — your Google Business Profile, your directory listings, your site footer — and suddenly your business details disagree with themselves everywhere. That inconsistency is a genuine ranking problem, and we've seen it undo months of local SEO work.
The correct setup: your real number stays the primary number on the Google profile and in every citation. The tracking number goes in the secondary slot, or is swapped in dynamically on the website only for visitors from a specific source, leaving the number Google reads untouched. It's a detail, and getting it wrong is the reason some businesses conclude that "call tracking hurt our SEO." The tracking didn't. The implementation did.
Call & Form Tracking
What it costs and whether you need it
Tracking numbers cost a few dollars a month each from the provider, in your own account. We set it up and configure the reporting; the ongoing cost is small and it's yours, not marked up through us.
You need it if you're spending money on more than one channel. If you're doing one thing and nothing else, you already know where the calls come from and this can wait.
How we work
Three things decide who gets the call.
Technical
Fast, secure and easy for Google to read on every phone.
Relevance
Pages that match what your customers actually search for.
Authority
Real reviews and clean listings that make you the trusted choice.
Where are your calls actually coming from?
If you can't answer that, we can set it up so you can — without touching the number Google reads.
